Spring has sprung, and I have my Spring Heart Tree up to celebrate the new season. For those of you who don't already know, the origin of my seasonal heart trees was two years ago. After taking down the Christmas Tree, I was grousing to my hubby, David, about how much I disliked taking the Christmas decorations down because, as I told him, " then everything is just grey and blah." My Christmas Tree had some small handmade quilted hearts, and I had other Christmas hearts around the house, in bowls and tucked into nooks and crannies. I said that maybe I should make some Winter hearts to celebrate Winter. David said, in his usual way, "Do it!" So I went on to make the Winter Hearts, and then Spring Hearts, and Fall Hearts as well. This year my Spring Heart Tree has the addition of bright flowers. I hope you like it as much as I do.
